About MicroLoc® Workholding Systems
The MicroLoc® System was developed by Mike Jenness, Managing Director of the then Micron Precision Engineering company, a subcontract business formed in 1980. Mike had a requirement for an accurate method of holding multiple work pieces in known datum positions on his CNC Milling machines. In the years that followed he developed this system further, adding versatility and flexibility.
1994 saw the formation of Micron Workholding Ltd, the Sales and Marketing Company for MicroLoc. In order to streamline manufacturing, supply and purchasing Micron Workholding Ltd acquired Micron Precision Engineering in 2003. By this time Micron Precision Engineering had completely stopped its subcontract engineering business to concentrate on the manufacture of MicroLoc®.
Today MicroLoc® is in the process of establishing a world-wide network with agents in USA, Europe and Asia already secured. Along side this the UK market continues to grow through a dedicated design, manufacture and after sales service.
